Organization Mission Statement: The mission of the LIFRC is to support and enhance the security, well-being, and educational and life success of children, families and individuals on Lopez Island.

Target Audience or Areas Served or Area of Operation: Medicaid eligible residents of San Juan County.

Services for Adults: Household Supports (Food, Rental, Utility, Transportation and Health Care Enrollment Assistance), Social Emotional Supports (Mental Health Supports), Learning Opportunities (Small Business Workshops, Small Business Peer Mentoring, Adult Workshops).

Services for Families: Household Supports (Food, Rental, Utility, Transportation and Health Care Enrollment, Assistance), Social Emotional Supports (Parent-Tots Group, Home Visiting with Families with Children ages 0-5, Mental Health Supports), Learning Opportunities (Youth Summer Workshops, Small Business Workshops, Small Business Peer Mentoring, Adult Workshops), Youth Development (Youth Mentors, After School Programs).

Services for Youth/Teen: Household Supports (Food, Rental, Utility, Transportation and Health Care enrollment assistance), Social Emotional Supports (mental health supports), Learning Opportunities (Youth summer workshops), Youth Development (Youth Mentors, After School Programs).

Description of Services- Families: WVS works to provides expanded services and resources for students 14-21 who experience a disability.
WVS is dedicated to providing outstanding quality services that result in successful community involvement and employment.

Description of Services- Adults: WVS contracts with San Juan County to engage employers, educate the community about the valuable contribution individuals with a disability can make to the workforce.

Description of Services Youth/Teen: WVS works to provide Job Skills Class in San Juan County high schools for students with disabilites. We also support individual students as they explore their passions and interests, turning dreams into career paths.

Volunteer Opportunities: WVS assists neighbors connect to meaningful volunteer opportunities with personalized support.
